What makes the 335is so special?
BMW improved upon the N54 everywhere it could. The 335is got an upgraded cooling system with an additional radiator and a more powerful fan unique to the model. There are outliers in either direction but the N52 is a lot more reliable than the N54/55 . I’ve owned my ’11 328i for about 8 years and it’s been generally very reliable.
