I upgraded to the M340i – the mpg is similar, the torque felt bizarrely similar, but the m340I is massively faster and void of the heavy diesel lump transforms the saloon into sublime handling racing car . I wouldn’t go back to a diesel as the m340i has a 550 mile range with class leading handling.
