How do I find out the color of my car interior?
The easiest way to determine the interior color of your vehicle is to contact the local dealer for your car’s make. The parts department can use your vehicle identification number to look up the interior color of your car. If the dealer gives you a color code, ask for the color name. BMW encodes the interior trim to the VIN, so there is no interior trim code to be found. A description of the leather color is always helpful. The VIN can be found at the left front dash area (seen through the windshield) or on the driver’s side door pillar.

How to find your interior color code?
If you still have the window sticker, the code you need could be at hand. If you can’t find that sticker, though, don’t worry. Somewhere on your vehicle there is likely to be a permanent plate, tag, or decal that contains the correct interior color code or trim code.
