What does M240i stand for?
The first number is for the size of the car. IE: 3 series small, 5 series medium, 7 series large. The next two numbers are the engine size- ie: 28= 2. M” is their sportier version of that series- M3, M5. So a M240(i) with a (B)58 would not be considered an M. But who cares. M240 is a daily driver, M2 is a sports car / track car. M240i is not am M car.
