It was clarified that the i4 would come with an EPA-estimated range of 435 km (270 mi) from an 80 kWh battery pack, though the production model has an EPA-rated range of 483 km (300 mi). From what BMW’s official figures and the industry standards tell us, under normal driving conditions, the i4’s battery should hold up for roughly 150,000 to 200,000 miles (that’s about 240,000 to 320,000 kilometers) before its capacity might start to dip down to 70-80% of what it was brand new.
