Is the BMW S1000R fast?
The BMW S1000R is without a doubt: fast, focused and furious! I always wondered what it would be like to ride a top of the line supernaked bike. Thanks to Bolton Motorcycles and their incredible diverse stock, I was able to enjoy a fairly dry ride on an otherwise very wet month. Is the BMW R1100S a good bike?
The BMW R1100S is now starting to be regarded as something of a classic, especially in Boxer Cup form. Classy (and crucially un-ugly) styling, VFR-esque comfort and versatility plus BMW quality and residuals make for a stonking and attractive all-rounder, if not quite the sports bike BM intended… The changes over the old R1100RS are few and far between. Essentially, the R1150RS becomes the last of the Boxers to get the new larger capacity flat-twin motor and a new and much-improved six-speed box. It completes a cycle of revamps and new bikes which means that the R1200C cruiser is now BMW’s oldest bike.
