Where do I get my BMW ID?
If you don’t have a BMW ID yet, follow the welcome message on the control display of your car. Can I change my BMW ID?
You can change the personal data for your BMW ID in the My BMW App or in the My BMW portal. Your personal data consists of your name and other personal information as well as your personal or business contact details (e-mail, telephone, postal address). To create a new BMW ID, select Register on the login page of the My BMW App or the My BMW portal. Enter your login data and personal details and save your input by clicking on Register now. To complete your registration, you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link.The BMW ID can be used in the vehicle to store and activate personal vehicle settings in a driver profile. The vehicle can store seven BMW IDs. If a vehicle is used by several people, each person can use their own BMW ID in the vehicle.
